The status of the conclusion of social security agreements is as follows. The Agreement between Japan and Austria Republic on Social Security entered into force on December 1, 2025. Accordingly, Japan has concluded agreements with 24 countries.

Please note that the elimination of dual coverage and the totalization of coverage periods are possible only between Japan and these countries. However, Agreements with United Kingdom, Republic of Korea , China and Italy include the elimination of dual coverage only.
