The amount shown below is the National Pension contributions you have not paid in spite of our repeated reminders to pay urgently.
As the final reminder, you must pay them with the enclosed payment invoice by the stated due date; otherwise, we shall take collection enforcement action by law.
Once the enforcement action starts, a penalty shall be imposed on your outstanding contributions amount at an annual rate of 14.6%, while for the period up to three months after the following date of the due date, the penalty rate is 7.3% (as temporarily prescribed in the supplementary provisions of the National Pension Act.) In addition, if necessary, we may seize the assets of you, your spouse and/or head of your household who are jointly liable.
If our enforcement action results in no progress, we may delegate the authority of contribution collection to the Minister of Finance (National Tax Agency) through the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
