What is the Special Payment System for Students?

The Special Payment System for Students is a contribution payment postponement system for students when they cannot afford to pay National Pension contributions. If your income in the previous year in Japan is equal to or less than a certain amount, you may apply for postponement of contribution payment. Please note that you need to file an application for the Special Payment System for Students for each year.
